DCR Traffic Advisory: Old Colony Avenue and Morrissey Boulevard in Boston

WHAT: Due to astronomical high tides and minor coastal flooding forecasted, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) anticipates lane and/or road closures to occur along Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to UMass Boston in the City of Boston starting Sunday, February 19, 2023, and continuing through Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Anticipated high tide times are as follows:

• Sunday, February 19, 2023, at 9:59 AM

• Monday, February 20, 2023, at 10:54 AM

• Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 11:46 AM

• Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 12:37 PM

Traffic patterns will be clearly marked, and DCR operations staff will be on site. A police detail may be on-site as needed if the off-ramp from Interstate 93 requires closure.

WHERE: Morrissey Boulevard (inbound and outbound) from Freeport Street to Bianculli Boulevard at UMass Boston in the City of Boston
